355ml bottle tried many years ago poured amber in color with a small white head that left a few spots of lace. Aroma was caramel and hops. Taste was caramel malty sweet with a light hop bitterness. A light to medium body with some decent carbonation. Overall, was quite a tasty brew and easy to drink.

from the bottle. poured a muddy brown, with no head. aroma, honey, caramels, raisins, wine, malts, grapes, apples, prunes. flavor sweet chocolate, honey, malts, nutty, hops, cherries, watery. at 1st I didn’t think this was anything special but than as it warmed I started to enjoy it moreand since the last post was june 2003 I think I got a old bottle, still not bad

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 15, 2003
Chestnut body topped by a quickly dissipating small beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, cherry. Taste is as the aroma suggests, only a bit watery, and finishing slightly roasty.

Deep Red color, large head. Deep roasted malt flavor, nice malt sweetness. Full flavored. Rich round smooth mouthfeel. Good balance. Excellent beer. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is malty, very slightly sweet.

BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - MAY 18, 2001
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2004 Nice mix of flavors, malt, cherry, sour bitter finish. More of a novelty beer than a regular drinker.

Indra (2711) - Suburbia, Kansas, USA - MAY 10, 2001
Smooth-bodied, somewhat low carbonation. Nice flavor, and cloudy red color is appealing. Nothing about this beer stands out as being extraordinary, though.

Flavourful dark lager. Not a wheat beer.
