Deep gold colour. Slightly appley aroma, with more alcohol apparent compared with regular Solbrew. A touch of acidity but this serves to balance out the alcohol. It’s not so strong you can’t session it, which is good.

120116. As with most pale lagers brewed by the major breweries of many countries this pale lager was thin and watery with not a lot going on in the flavour or aroma department. I wasn’t expecting much and that is what I got. I came across this beer in a can at the supermarket in the centre of Port Vila. The beer is imported into Vanuatu from the Solomon Islands and gives people an alternative to Tusker Premium Lager that you see all around town. Easy enough to drink given that the beer was cold and the weather was hot and humid and a beer that you could probably throw down one after the other if you were hot enough and thirsty enough. I am sure that this bee receives a lot of love in its native country and I am not sure that it is sold in too many places around the world.

Pours pale golden color with a small head. Very faint grassy and starchy aroma, flavor is also sweetish with corn and starch. Very simple and watery.

Bottle at wpbf. Clear golden color, small white head. Fruity apple aroma. Light-bodied. Also has lots of green apple. Low bitterness. Typical tropical lager.

[email protected] III. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is herbs overdose, floral and some grainy notes. Flavour is herbal, grass and mild earthiness. Actually quite surprisingly fresh and nice.

Aroma is odd with butter, herbal and floral tones. Also mellow cardboard tones. Fees musty. Flavour has herbs, some grainy malt, mint and grassy hops. A bulk lager above average.

Bottled, thanks Nisse666! Clear golden, minimal head. Aroma of hibiscus and thinner. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Hibiscus, rice and water. Low bitterness.

Can from a Supermarket in Port Vila, Vanuatu, August 2014. Clear golden with a small white head. Quite thin with cardboard, some light fruit. The finish was short with some light bitterness. Really nothing to write home about.
