Draught at Hausbrauerei. Color deep red cloudy, frothy head.Aromas sweet malts, mild, cooked vegetables, roasted, plums and some raisins. Dry with mild hoppy finish. An ok Dunkles with microbrew taste or some impurity issues.

ganache (6031) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 25, 2012
Draught, a beautiful dark copper with a rocky, lacing off-shite head. Lightly bitter, but not for long; dry and malty but actually a little more hops-balanced than expected. Weak caramel. Fullish body, lots of lace. OK, more of a generic ’beer’ than a Dunkel.

On tap at the site. Cloudy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of grain, nuts, hay and grass. Thin and dryish grainy malt flavour with a roasted and biscuit note. Slightly sour finish

mattphilips (801) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 18, 2011
Schalander Hausbrauerei, Berlin.

Oakes (18520) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 16, 2011
Amber-brown. Nice mix of toast, earth and caramel on the nose. Quite toasty, with maybe a slight fruity accent. Lively, almost Vienna-like character. Well-balanced and quaffable, with just a kiss of sweetness in the finish.

3.6
Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 6, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Warm brown-orange with lasting sudsy head. Nice toasty, pleasantly husky malt aroma. Soft and drinkable good body. Straightfoward toasty malts are great, geschmakt. Can’t argue with this one.

KnutAlbert (6771) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 17, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Glowing amber. Fruity, caramel, prunes, pleasant sourness, dry finish. Well hopped, well balanced. Not far removed from an Altbier.
