On tap at the brewpub. Glowing amber. Fruity, caramel, prunes, pleasant sourness, dry finish. Well hopped, well balanced. Not far removed from an Altbier. Oakes (17680) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 16, 2011
Amber-brown. Nice mix of toast, earth and caramel on the nose. Quite toasty, with maybe a slight fruity accent. Lively, almost Vienna-like character. Well-balanced and quaffable, with just a kiss of sweetness in the finish. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 6, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Warm brown-orange with lasting sudsy head. Nice toasty, pleasantly husky malt aroma. Soft and drinkable good body. Straightfoward toasty malts are great, geschmakt. Can’t argue with this one. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 7, 2012
The head is stable, the body red-brown. It smells darkmalty, sweet. The taste is malty, a bit soft, aromatic, bit amber-fruity, flowery, roasty and creamy. This is a tasty, full bodied and balanced beer. Good 12/11/12/11/-/11 NosirIwont (2532) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2010
Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a (murky) brown with a big off-white head. Good lacing. Sweetish, earthy hop aroma with malt in the background. Sweet, hoppy and malty flavour; nice balance. Remote plastic notes as it warms, but not too bad. Bitter hoppy finish, lingering. Bit of grassy notes. Soft palate, but still with a good amount of carbonation. Overall has a good hop profile and is well-balanced, although it’s a bit too sweet in the long run. 25.08.10.

At the brew pub 1/10/09. Slightly hazy garnet colour, with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of barley sugar, forest fruits and grassy hops. Flavour started with a sweet edge, before bready malts, a hint of chocolate and a decent, bitter finish. Enjoyable. fonefan (49355) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2010
