bottle @ Calandros / Baton Rouge LA --- 1.04.16 --- Nearly clear dark amber brown, beige head that stays at a full cover, waves of lace. Taste is a beer that is fading. Some caramel in the openers, mild fizz, then a turn toward unpleasant cedar in a long finish. Probably much better when fresh.

rauchbier (3935) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2016
Bottle, from Message in a Bottle, Cleethorpes. Hazy amber bronze, thin but sustained creamy white head, moderate condition. Gentle fruity citrus nose with a hint of berries and a little bready yeasty note tinged with esters. Soft in the mouth with an earthy bitterness mingled with a muted sweet clove note and some fruitiness. Finish is slightly fruity with some slight estery yeastiness lingering.

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy dark copper amber with a large creamy beige head. Aroma of dark caramel. Med body. Flavor is dark caramel, not getting much fruit. Or noble hop. Despite that it drinks ok.

Idiosynkrasie (7980) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 26, 2014
500ml bottle. Hazy chestnut colour with huge, thick, frothy, off-white to beige head. Wheaty and bready aroma, a touch of caramel, baked banana, spicy yeasty overtones. Taste is caramel malty with a nuttily touch, cautious hints of nougat and wafers/conen, subtle sweetness, dry, herbal hoppy overtones, a spicy touch of yeast. Nice nuttily taste, good.
