Murky brownish orange with a large off-white head. Ugly as it gets. Aroma is like a combination of banana and mulling spices. Tastes immediately like banana bread but with some interesting caramel and rum-like notes - maybe more like Banana Fosters. UPDATED: MAY 18, 2017 2017 release with 7.4% abv. Written on the label@: pours dark amber like copper, muddy, with long lasting froffy off-white head. Aroma: bread-like, toasted, "weizen" yeasts like charackter, banana and some dark fruits (especially plums, prunes beside banana) like esters, clove,....flavour follows aroma. Slightly dry, and gentle sweet on palate. Alcohol isn’t noticeable. Full body, fluffy texture, medium carbonation. Great beer for almost nothing. Absolutely underrated!! Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy copper with a creamy white head. Aroma of light caramel and perhaps banana. Med minus body. Flavor is wheat/caramel (light) with some banana after a moment. Flavors aren’t strong, but it’s a decent drink. 500 ml. bottle. Best by 4/9/16. It pours a relatively clear brown color with a tall off white head that shrinks in about a minute. The aroma has some toasted malt, banana, raisin, fig, bread and some clove. The rich breadiness is a nice complement to the fruity fermentation esters. The flavor is melanoiden rich with some baked bread, molasses, raisin, banana and clove. Pretty phenolic and estery, but the body is reasonably light and well carbonated. A potent cocktail of dark maltiness and estery yeast activity. Maybe a hint of DMS with some cooked vegetables in the finish. Tap at tap-house Munich. spicy, light fermented fruit aroma. dark cloudy brown, lacing golden cream. Medium light creamy body. spicy citric flavor notes, light fennel and licorice. Quite quaffable and dangerous.
