33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Black colour, dense creamy beige head. Aroma of liquorice, dark fruits, chocolate, raisins, light peat, a bit mouldy. Flavour is sweet, liquorice, hint of coffee, earth, hint of peat, dark fruits, very malty, bittersweet finish. Fullbodied, thick oily mouthfeel. Good. Draught @ In de Wildeman, Amsterdam. Pitch black, opaque colored beer with a small off-white head that leaves virtually no lacing and is fully diminishing. Smell malts, sweetness, ash, dust and earth. Taste lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sour with a slight bitterness. Soft, almost flat carbonation and a low body. UPDATED: JAN 30, 2014 Dark brown body with a tan, frothy firm head. Light roasted toast, dry fruit, bready. Full flavoured, fruit concentrate, chocolate covered raisins. Mild brett, but used just right. Amazing brew, top class. One of my favourites this event. (At De Nederlandse Brettanomyces Dagen) PotjeBier (3348) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 17, 2012
