(2001), 33cl. Head: thick, off-white colored foam. Color: brass. Aroma: grain. Taste: some bitter and sour. Palate: medium body, bitter finish. Overall: ok.
Copper bodied with a small but firm, off white head. Very fruity, moderate aroma, with madarin, peach and a backup from a solid malty base. Cookie dough and a sweaty feel to it, which extends into the taste. Medium carbonation fails a bit to bring out the potential, for me. Not as sweet but also not as rich as the flavour indicated. For some reason I like the super simple, almost amateurish label. Not the brewer’s best or most exiting, but very accessible and still well brewed. Some banana in the aroma, some malt, not too pleasant. Darker yellow. Nice palate with some soft banana icecream flavors, some spice. Kind of thick beer, but nice and warming. Bottle from De Schans shop in Uithoorn. madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2011

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy gold beer. Little off white head. Airy palate, semi dry and semi soft. Minerally pale malt. Insipid barely there hop. Semi dry finish. Pretty dull!
(Bottled, no BBE) Somewhat hazy golden with a medium, lacy head. Aroma of pale malt and herby-grassy hops, mildly acidic with a touch of honey. Flavor is very herby and grassy-hoppy, with honeyish but dryish pale maltiness, and some licoricey notes. Medium body, balanced medium carbonation. A quite interesting and pleasant blond with pilsenery-aromatic hops, but also a unique, herby character. Nice. 4535 KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2009
Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Spicy aroma with malt and fruity notes. Sweet spicy flavour with malty and mild hoppy notes. Finished spicy.
