Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2008
(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy dark brown with a reddish hue and a nice beige head. Aroma of hard roasted malts and a little vanilla. Quite a decent full body with a somewhat heavy carbonation. Sweetish burned malt accents with distinct vanila notes. Some malt bitterness in the far finish. 031008

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 28, 2008
(Bottled, BBE 11/2008) Very dark brown with a medium, beige head. Aroma of lactic sourness, roasted malt, chocolate. Roasted-malty, slightly lactic-sour flavor with some smokiness, and a clear, but controlled burnedness, and a dryish finish. Medium to full body with soft-n-silky carbonation. A very balanced and enjoyable stout. A bit straightforward, but nice.

omhper (24980) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 25, 2008
Bottled. Dark brown, minimal head. Papery chocolate aroma. Sweet with above medium body, fairly high carbonation. An initial surge of cocoa powder transits to milky chocolate sauce, passing over a slight metallic edge. Full flavoured.

Hard to get stout from the Netherlands. Dark almost black in colour, steady head thick foam. Very roasted almost coffe like taste. Delicious beer.

Bottle thanks to ronnie! Quite a rare beast, however that does not make it good. Roasty, alc present, candy sugar, quite floural, molasses are key. Not really my style and pritty one dimentional.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 20, 2008
from crackedkettle.com - dark black coloured, solid and persistant beige foam; fair aroma of chocolate with subtle hints of vanilla and prunes, medium-bodied and with a creamy mouthfeel; very low bitterness; moderately dry coffeeish aftertaste with some notes of licorice - delicate and subtle

hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2008
Nice retro label. Very dark brown or black, with a brown head. A brown deposit collected on the base of the glass. Sweet chocolate aroma. Taste is very sweet and ashy with a mid bitter finish. Too fizzy, but very good.
