Schooner on tap at Australian hotel The Rocks. Aussie hop nose. Clear golden with many bubbles, small head. Nice malty flavour stymied by disappointing aftertaste. It all goes a bit macro at the end. Too much like VB for my tastes. VinegarStroke (445) - Napa, California, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Tasted 6/12: Tap> light haze, pale, light head and lace. Aromatic profile is dominated by honey malt. Very malt driven. Hops are subtle. Off dry, not sour and medium low bitterness. Just a little simple.
Been about 18 nyears since I last drank this beer. The world has passed this beer by but it’s still solid. gnoff (10985) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2013

Had on tap at picton and Australian hotel. A very nice lager, a bit maltier than your average.

Tap. Cloudy yellowish orange with almost no head. Grainy aroma with some flowers, pears and spices. Feels alive in the mouth and is slightly creamy. Light grainy sweetness with typical lager hint of sourness and mild peppery bitterness. Good. mkel07 (6395) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 13, 2011

Tonight was the first time I’ve ever returned a beer, this was undrinkable. Heavily clouded piss yellow with visible sediment. Very strong sulfur and wet gym socks smell that carried over to the flavour. Certainly there is big bitterness there but I couldn’t get past that smell. There must be a fault with the keg or the lines because there is no way this beer could be intentionally made this way. This was at the Australian Hotel in Sydney, I asked the bar staff (politely) to dispose of the glass.
