Bottle 33cl @ [ Tasting in Ulfborg ].
Light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, moderate yeasty, horse blanket, soap. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (110708)

33 cL bottle, thanks to BelJohansen. Pours hazy orange with a little white head. Light soapy aroma and caramel malty. Flavour is mild sweet and solid spiced caramel malt flavouered. Goes into a nice lingering yeast and malty finish. Nice.

An unclear orange beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is of yeast, rosehips, and oranges and is quite sweet. The flavor is very powerful yeasty and spicy.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, dark amber with lots of floating impurities. Small, creamy, off-white head which never collapses completely. Fruity nose with pronounced notes of coriander and yeast. Lightly perfumy flavour (coriander again) with lots of soft malt. Distinct bitter hops in the finish. Quite typical Tripel. 110805

[Bottled at Monks Caf, Stockholm] Hazy golden. Aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon. Dryish and fairly light bodied with light, spritzy mouthfeel. Teh malt sweetenss grows as it warms, revealing yeasty almond and marmelade flavours. Saison-like in its liveliness. Very likable.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Notably sweet Tripel. Sweet and light. Very slight sourness in the malt. Dry finish.

Bottle at Kafe Belgie. Golden color, medium white head. Aroma of caramel, bread. Taste is not as sweet as most tripels.

Draught at Moeder Lambic, Fontainas
Deep blond color, hazy, with creamy head. The aroma is sweetish, with malt, cereals, some spices. Smooth mouthfeel, with malt flavor and spicy yeast; there is a light residual sweetness, but less than in the Hop Ruiter tasted side to side, therefore more balanced; medium-low bitterness. Pleasant.
