Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel troebel bier met matig schuim. Aroma van hop, gistend en citrusvruchten. Smaak is licht hoppig en zoet met vleugje sinaasappel. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

The beer looks nice, like a proper tripel. The color of the brew is a rather golden yellow. The beer itself is quite cloudy, which isnt weird for a tripel. On top of the beer a nice thick layer of soft white foam is formed. Foam retention is quite good, but after a while the most of the foam has collapses and a soft thin drape is left. The smell of the beer is nice. It is a good example of a tripel. It is not extremely special, but it is very nice. It has some similarities with well known beers like Duvel. It is richer though. You can smell and taste it is brewed on a smear scale. The taste is quite hoppy. There are nice rich citric hop aromas, giving both bitterness and acidic touches. Lovely. There is a nice maltiness to. The malts arent extremely strong, but there enhance the hop aromas lovely. There are also some clear yeas aromas, a bit leaf like, natural and fresh. I like it. The taste of the beer is the same. The maltiness is a bit stronger here. It is a bit almondy. Together with the malts there is a nice strong, warming alcohol flavour. It really gives the beer some strength. Hops are also present, giving some nice bitters and slight acids. Nice. The palate of the beer is also nice. It is quite a warming strong alcohol beer. Body is medium and carbonation is rather low to medium. The finish is nice. It contains an nice alcoholy warmth and the taste of alcohol and some malts. Greed tripel.

Lele (526) - Padova, ITALY - JAN 20, 2017

Nice and refreshing hoppy aroma and taste, mouthfeel a bit oily and full. Simply a good beer.

Bottled. The body is hazy orange. It has a huge off white head. The aroma is hoppy. The taste has fruits, grapes, very much like a triple should be.

33cl bottle at home. Appearance: clear golden with medium white head. Aroma: sweet malts, clove, spices, apricot. Taste: fairly high sweetness, medium bitterness and a nice subtle tartness. Fruity with notes of apricot, sweet malts and grass. Palate: medium bodied, oily texture and lively carbonation.

Manderijnenschil en sinaasappelschil is smaak en aroma, beetje biobak in smaak, neemt een vreemde curve iig van zoetigheid, rotting en suiker. Geen bitter haast.
