Aroma:
Slight aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dried fruit and spices.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque ruby/dark brown beer with a slight beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Medium sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dried fruit and spices.

Overall:
An interesting one-of-a-kind Dubbel with a complex flavour. Could have been more intense however.

Bottle at home. Clear dark reddish brown with thin head. Sweet caramel malts. Wet grain, sugar cane, figgs, melasse, salmiak, dark chocolate, sour-dough, yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter, faint saltiness. Over medium body, light chalky texture and creamy fat mouthfeel. The average carbonation gives a peppery spicy touch. Pretty nice.

Bottle from shop in Vlissingen. Lovely brown beer. Sweet, tangy, moreish. Very reminiscent of one of those reductions which are placed in a small jug, next to the plate of food, on Masterchef: the Professionals. You know, one of those succulent, port and beef stock bouillen things, which are extremely flavoursome and very glossy. Good beer.

Bottle. Dark brown in color with a mocha colored head. Dark fruits, coffee and malty sweetness on the nose. Light yeasty spicyness too. Maltyness, some sweetness in taste, but also quite much of some fruity notes from apples are presen too.

Genaamd naar het kanon in Gent, redelijk lichte smaak, weinig schuimkraag, wel lekker.

Brown colored beer with a beige head. What cloudy beer. Tastes malty, caramel, fruit.
