Bottled, 330ml from Winkel Store, Jabbeke, West Flanders, Belgium. Cloudy brown with short head. There is a sweet, nutty, slightly smoked note to this, mid roasted malts, some boiled vegetable notes. Thinnish palate. Just okay really. vickey9 (1000) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 9, 2016

Slight aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dried fruit and spices.
Turbid/opaque ruby/dark brown beer with a slight beige head.
Medium sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, dried fruit and spices.
An interesting one-of-a-kind Dubbel with a complex flavour. Could have been more intense however.
Bottle at home. Clear dark reddish brown with thin head. Sweet caramel malts. Wet grain, sugar cane, figgs, melasse, salmiak, dark chocolate, sour-dough, yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter, faint saltiness. Over medium body, light chalky texture and creamy fat mouthfeel. The average carbonation gives a peppery spicy touch. Pretty nice. hazy dark amber to brown colour, medium sized beige-ish head; aroma of dried fruits like plum and figs, toast, slight floral notes and hints of toffee, taste of rye bread, dried fruits (figs, plum and raisins), some roastedness and minimal sourness; good dubbel DanielBrown (4527) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2015
Bottle from shop in Vlissingen. Lovely brown beer. Sweet, tangy, moreish. Very reminiscent of one of those reductions which are placed in a small jug, next to the plate of food, on Masterchef: the Professionals. You know, one of those succulent, port and beef stock bouillen things, which are extremely flavoursome and very glossy. Good beer.
