Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, dusty, light to moderate yeasty, cheese, dried prune - apricots. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (110708)

From tap at Ølbaren. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and a lacing light brown head. Aroma is chalky, breadish, with a mild raisin note and mild mouldy. Flavour is raisins swept in bread. Dried fruity finish with a light acidity and some breadish notes lingering into the finish. Grows on me with every sip, gives the impression of a rather nice brew that doesn’t have the best of all aromas.

A hazy red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with main notes of berries, but also hints of wood. The flavor is sweet woody combined with notes of berries, and a slight acidity. The body is somehow thin - hard to imagine in a 8.5% ABV Belgian beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark and almost muddily unclear, brownish head with lots of impurities. Very complex from lots of good quality ingredients. Heavy and aromatic, almost vinous in it’s approach. Vinous in the direction of sweet desert wines like port, madeira etc. And has some Trappist touches also. Great beer. 260804
