Hop Ruiter (Hop Rider) has a full, almost rustic malt body, and pairs Belgian yeast-driven flavors with American assertive hoppiness. It is dry hopped, with two noble varieties which add complexity, delicacy and a bit of funk.

thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 24, 2012
750 ml bottle, 8% ABV. Slightly cloudy pale golden body with a medium head. Aroma has sweet yeast with some honey. Very balanced, very Belgian. Good palate with fine carbonation. Taste has sweet malts with notable hoppiness, which is never overbearing but just right. A bit Tripel-like but mellower and therefore more drinkable. Mellow fruity and yeasty finish with the right bitterness. Did I mention it was mellow and super drinkable?

daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Orange/gold pour with a white head. Simple aroma of fruity esthers, yeast and light hops. Flavor is much the same, some caramel malt, a bit of tropical fruit. Not bad.

Home, 750 bottle. Golden, a head that literally does not stop. This beer was completely intoxicating - in every way. A new favorite. Maybe it was the happy state I was in or my wife's gourmet pizza, but this flavorful, perfectly-balanced beer blew me away. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle. From Tallinn, Estonia. Courtesy of mjs.
Cloudy pale yellow golden colour with big fluffy white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, fresh fruity hops and mild tart citrus. Delicious aroma. Flavour ain’t that fresh. Lots of alcohol, fruity hops, Belgian yeast and some rubber in flavour. After the great aroma the flavour was a real disappointment.

mjs (7259) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 21, 2012
(Bottle, 0.75 l - BBE 6/2014, from Drink Shop, 20120721) The beer poured golden and a little bit hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had hops, fruitiness and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, Belgian style yeast, alcohol, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, yeasty and bitter. A very good aroma but the taste was musty and alcohol pushed through too much.
