Hop Ruiter (Hop Rider) has a full, almost rustic malt body, and pairs Belgian yeast-driven flavors with American assertive hoppiness. It is dry hopped, with two noble varieties which add complexity, delicacy and a bit of funk.

Me like. Nice golden beer with nice head. Light flowery-fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel, sharpish finish. Aftertaste turns milder but lasts.

Kolor lekko bursztynowy, prawie klarowny, od góry piwo przykrywa spora, bia?a piana, raczej o ?redniej ?ywotno?ci z kiepskim zdobieniem. Aromat to s?odowo??, delikatne nuty chmielowe, raczej trawiaste i wytrawne. Bardzo delikatnie ale jednak, rozpuszczalnik. Smak nie przynosi niczego nowego, jak wy?ej, s?odowo??, odrobina wytrawno?ci i trawiastych nut chmielowych. Goryczka to zdecydowanie plus tego piwa, wyra?na i d?uga, wysycenie wysokie. kolejny plus to idealnie schowany alkohol.

Hazy pale yellow colour, long lasting foam. No date of any kind on the 750mL bottle. Oh, and it’s an oozer. Smells of bubblegum, yeast, candi sugar, a touch of banana. Taste reflects the smell but much milder than what I expected. Considering the ample abv. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a nice drop but shows up a tad under when it comes to value for the money. Worthy of a try.

Light straw color, with a bit of fish food. moderate sized, diminishing white head. Aromas of light pale malt and floral hops. Flavors are moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Slightly acidic. 8/10

Bottle at Porte Noire. Delicious exotic hop tart with pulpy notes of pineapple and papaya, clean finish, no trace of alcohol. A tasty surprise.

33cl bottle at home (Amsterdam) on 11-Aug-2016. ABV 8%. Hazy golden amber colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, citrus, Belgian yeast and spices. Medium body and carbonation. Medium sweetness, slightly sticky. Heavy taste of Belgian yeast, with fruity citrus and lightly hopped. Dry bitter finish. Slightly sweet, but a decent Belgian style IPA.

Mistig goudgeel bier met medium witte schuimkraag. Hop in de neus, minder in de mond. Grapefruit, cactus, gist, mout. Bitterzoet. Licht melig, medium tot veel co2.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber beer with huge head and very good retention. Nose is on grassy hops and belgian yeast. Aroma is on agrumes, sugar, light spices, belgian yeast, quite robust, some grain and malt at the finish.

TrefwoordPunk (1253) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUN 2, 2016
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellow to golden with a medium white head and an aroma of malts, citrus hops, spices and yeast. The taste is medium sweet with a short to medium lasting hoppy bitterness. Nice beer, but nothing too special.

MelvinKalksma (1579) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2016

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, spices, hops and citrus.

Turbid golden/amber beer with a slight while/off-white head.

Starts medium/heavy sweet with malts, caramel and Belgian yeast; ends slightly dry with spices, hops and citrus.

This beer tastes rather intense, complex and balanced. The aroma could have been intenser and the flavour could have had more depth.
