COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Ruiter (Hop Rider) has a full, almost rustic malt body, and pairs Belgian yeast-driven flavors with American assertive hoppiness. It is dry hopped, with two noble varieties which add complexity, delicacy and a bit of funk.

Bottled, 330ml, aged 3.6yrs from Victoria Wine in Oakham, Rutland. Yellow gold with white head. There is a Belgian yeasty character from the start of this, lemon sherbert notes with pear drops. Some light spicing notes and a slight herby, grapefruit peel bitterness. Pretty reasonable.

Bottle. Hazy orange. Citrussy, leafy green hops on nose, malts, some booze shining through. Pretty nice full malty body. Some huskyness, bitter, hop leafy. Ok. Very belgian in style. Easy drink despite the hefty abv.

This beer has a strong malt taste, without being to bitter. A typical Americanstyle stronger beer but from a Belgian brewery.
