Brewed from pale and caramel malts and heavily hopped with Hersbracker and Saaz hops, this is a beer for the connoisseur, who does not shy away from a robust hoppiness. Its full, smooth flavor makes it an ideal session beer.

330 ml bottle. Clear, golden/orange body with a dense white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and cane sugar. Flavor is quite light, fruity, sweet malt, caramel and a bit floral. Medium body and a spicy finish. Quite nice, maybe a bit to much on the sweet side, could have been less sweeter and more refreshing.

Bottle. Not a bad beer. Quite interesting in it’s own way. Personally I can’t stand the taste of rotten vegtables though...

[email protected] Beer Festival 2009. Firm offwhite head. Clear yellow golden body. Sweetish wheat aroma with notes of fruit, mild spices and alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty. Notes of canned fruits. Oily mouthfeel. Malty-sweet, slight bitter ending.

diabel (1721) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - MAR 13, 2009
Draught Clear, blond body. Off-white creamy head. Aroma of (sharp) citrus, orange, anise, coriander. Moderately bitter flavour, quite citric. Unbalanced flavour. Some dry tarty bitterness in the finish. Not very interesting.

gnoff (10891) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 2, 2009
33 cl bottle at Het Amsterdamertje, Göteborg, Sweden. Shared with ekstedt and deft. On February 2, 2009
BB Dec-08
Cloudy orange color, small white head. Spicy, minty, licorice, toothpaste, black currant leaves, wet dirt cellar and some alcohol scent. Sugary sweet taste with hints of almond paste and black currant leaves, also the wet cellar again. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. These types of "aged" notes fit better in a darker and more heavy beer, might have been laid down too long, possibly stored in room temp or so.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2009 33cl, from the brewery, complex and balanced brew, hazy, good head, good brew
