(bottle) pours a clear dark ruby colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of grass, toffee, cherries, light milk chocolate and earth, slightly vegetal and much too sweet. flavour is mostly the same, with more caramel and milk chocolate, a faint woodiness and a slightly alcoholic finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

crackedmachine (481) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 12, 2011
Bottle. Pours oily, opaque black with a thick light-brown head. Aroma is almost candy-like in its sweetness, with some underlying cereal. Flavor has plenty of roasted malt sweetness, a bit of bitter chocolate, and mild saltiness. Palate is not as heavy as anticipated, with a nice effervescence. The slight brininess and lively carbonation really lighten this up.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured dark, almost black color with nice beige head. Coffee and roasted malt, kind of sourish, woody as well. Flavor had alcohol, chocolate, lots of liquirice and also some bready notes. Very drinkable stout with a dry finish. Medium bodied.

sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - AUG 19, 2011
33cl.

RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2011
Bottle. Densely coloured blackish brown beer with a strong smooth light brown head. The aroma is malty and mildly roasted, and the flavour is very bitter - expresso coffee like, with a malty and roasted mouth feel. Overall a very nice stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
