Zeer donker bier met een weeïg aroma. Ook stroop in te herkennen. Beige schuimkraag, die geheel verdwijnt.

33 cl bottle at the lovely Cocktails at 9 terrace, Antwerp. Pours dark brown (almost black) with reddish highlights. Mocha-colored head is abundant and lasts quite a while. Aroma is low but nice: blackberry, licorice, chicory. Mouthfeel is fizzy, creamy, bittersweet and very long-lasting.

SylvainCFC (303) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2017
Robe brune très foncée, opaque. Mousse beige foncé, col moyen, assez stable. Tenue moyenne.

Gerne wieder. Elegant säuerlich & angenehm; mineralisch 🎆 .033l Buddel im CAFE BELGE, Leuven.

Sweet: malty, caramel. A bit metallic and watery (considering this is a stout). Not a very good stout, but it’s not a bad beer.

Deep dark with small of head. Extremly sweet with some stout hints in the quickly vanishing finish. More malzbier than stout to me.

Jimbo2 (521) - DENMARK - APR 9, 2017
Very decent. Nice roasted flavours and aroma, somewhat caremal-ish and slightly hoppy. Nice lingering finish. Fairly low carbonation.
