UPDATED: JAN 4, 2011 12 oz. bottle from TC Craft. Dark golden color, big white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with notes of pine. Flavor is a nice balance of the malt with a hoppy bite. Excellent beer, one of my new favorites. jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Pours a copper gold into the glass with a nice head of pearl colored foam. Nose is mostly malt. Creamy on the palate, the taste is light hops on the front end, light malt and bread in the middle and a hop kicker on the finish. Overall, a pleasant sipping beer that pairs well with summer picnic food. mcjay (463) - Neenah, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 21, 2010
Deep golden color with a creamy off white head. Mild hoppy aroma with a hint of pine. Overall dry flavor of mixed hops but still a rather malty brew. A very good american style pale ale. zeke626 (460) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 20, 2010
Bottle shared by akevitt. Pours a clear amber-gold body with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, bread, yeast, and some nice floral hops. Flavor is not as intense as the aroma, but similar with the hops more prominent. Body is on the lighter side of medium, but very drinkable. Slick mouthfeel and well carbonated. Finishes dry and bitter with a slight aspirin taste. RyanMM (416) - Ferndale, Michigan, USA - MAY 30, 2010
Pours copper with a billowy beige head. Aromas of hops, bread. Very smooth, crisp, great carbonation, hoppy finish. Rich flavor. Slight warming builds on the tongue as you drink it. Really nice beer.

A feathery aroma, but what I do detect, is a little bit of herbal hops, sweet malts, and grass. Flavors of toffee, sweet bread, grains, and hops. Mild, fruity and crisp finish. Easy to drink. At first this is kind of boring but it does grow on a person mid bottle. SODAK14 (382) - Rapid City, South Dakota, USA - JUL 15, 2010
Pours a lot of head and champagne like bubbles. Way too hoppy for me, won’t ever buy this one again. dekester1 (369) - Town of Maple Creek, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 17, 2012
Poured an amber/gold color with a nice frothy head that faded slowly to lacing. Aroma was nice - bready, sweet malt, fruity. Taste was pretty decent as well - hoppy (high to moderate), nutty malt backbone. Palate was above average too. Overall, a nice Vienna lager in the vein of Sam Adams. bbrock81 (317) - Le Mars, Iowa, USA - FEB 13, 2011
Bottle from sampler pack. Very decent beer, if a little of the mish-mash one would think from the description. Has the body of a malty beer with the hoppy flavor and especially finish of an IPA. Not the best but still a very good beer. joeymacaroni (309) - Wagontown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2011
Pours a cloudy dark gold/amber with a teafroth off-white head. Nose of light fruit, caramel, honey, toast, and bread dough. Flavor is nice and bitter, with caramel, dough, and lemon. Very dry finish.
