Can. Pours a light yellow color with white head. Light, malty, corn, pils aromas. Bread, corn, pils flavors. Pretty light beer, but pretty smooth. I think if I was living in Minnesota while in college, I would have pounded a lot of these. Easy drinking, not great, but better than other similar macro pale lagers. ads135 (5031) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 23, 2013
This is an okay lager, definitely better than most. Its not quite as corn flavored, has a nice malt base. crossovert (13914) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Half liter can. Taste is not great at all, lingering soy sauce like after taste, not great. bluemooner (657) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Pours a pale, clear yellow with a minimal white head. Aroma is grain and some sweet malt. Flavor is grain, corn, light, sweet malt, and grassy notes. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Better than most though still not great. Ratman197 (15372) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Bottle poured a clear yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread, corn and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of bread and light straw with a smooth finish.

Not too much to say. It’s a pale yellow macro style lager. Decently malty. You can taste the corn. no hop profile to speak of. A pleasant easy drink, but uninspired. JK (6296) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Autumn Brew Review 2012. Deer Brand with Nelson Sauvin. Lager yeast, yellow color, but intensely hopped giving a good floral aroma and bitter flavor. Good palate, better than almost all other beers of this type. dekester1 (370) - Town of Maple Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 29, 2012
Poured a clear gold/yellow with minimum head and lacing. Nose was of sweet corn with a fruity hint. Corn predominates the taste with slight twist of pear in the mix and light hop finish. Palate was average and unexceptional. Overall, not a terrible brew but not as good as what I was expecting based on the average rating. boozedude (2229) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - APR 18, 2012
Pours pale yellow..thin head...aroma is fruity..corn..taste is sweet with good finish...not bad for a cheap production ale steve1966 (131) - Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2012
Old Midwest standard. Just had my first one in 10 years. Pours very light yellow color. I can’t believe how light this one was. Just a regular beer when I had it 10 years back still the same today. Nothing fancy, but it sure tasted good on a warm day. No head sweet pale finish. Again not much to it but it sure went down good. Nothing wrong with this one. Not as hearty as a Leinies but good in its own way for a midwestern standard beer. Prost Schells!
