drpimento (3729) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 30, 2017
Very similar to their Oktoberfest perhaps a shade darker in a touch more roasty. Like with a lot of Schell beers a short-lived head with no lace.

bottle. Poured clear copper with an off-white head. Sugary sweet malt aroma. Light-medium body, smooth carbonation, buttery mouthfeel. Toasty malt flavour, nutty, notes of caramel and a touch peppery, has a slight whiskey barrel essence.

Atom (2556) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 18, 2016
12oz bottle pours clear copper/orange with a huge khaki head. Aroma of metallic caramel and toffee malts. Taste of astringent caramel and toffee malts and sharp raisin. Didn’t enjoy this.

Bottle. Sour milk, toffee malt, and weedy grass aroma. Amber with moderate head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and lightly bitter weedy grass flavor. Very light body. Not much to it.
