This all malt, Vienna-style lager is a real crowd pleaser! Roasted malts and imported hops give it a deliciously smooth malt taste backed by a light hop finish. Perfect for any occasion.

12oz bottle in Brainerd, MN: Wonderful spicy sort of malty aroma upon pouring. A bit darker than most viennas Ive tried, but Ive not tried many. Long lasting creamy head, which is surprising. The flavor is pretty well balanced between malty and bitter for the style, but still seems a bit thin somehow. Still, overall a very tasty and enjoyable vienna.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2006 The head was small and diminishing. The color was red and the body was clear. This was a smooth tasting beer with no bitter finish.

Bottle, poured into a Lager glass. Pours copper with a average size white frothy head, which shrinks away but leaves a nice white film throughout the whole glass, leaving little to no lacing. Looking through the glass the beer is clear of all particles with a few bubbles fizzing up. The aroma is grainy with a little caramel malts, no hop aroma. The flavor is slightly grainy with hints of caramel, there is a slight bitterness on the back of the tounge in the end. The body is light to medium with a dry/watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall a very easy drinker that goes down smooth.

A nice malty take on the Vienna style. Perhapse a little dark but otherwize flawless and quite drinkable.

Good lager - plenty of malt. My favorite Schell.

More hops than malts in this. Light citrus hints with a tiny bit of bitterness.

The colour seems true to its name. Sweet aroma, very smooth and clean taste. Sometimes avialable on Nothwest Airlines.

This a very nice representation of a Vienna style and at a nice price to boot. Head fades somewhat fast(perhaps my glass?) malt aroma is very evident after pour. Color is copper and very clear. Although there was some residual yeast in the bottle. Nice hops flavor that is not at all obtrusive to the malt. Caramel notes are present and linger in the finish. Nice job !

This vienna pours cloudy and has a prune color. The aroma is malty and the flavor is sweet and malty. I could not detect any smoke or fire flavor as the label may lead you to believe. The body is thin and smooth. Not bad.
