COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schell’s Hefeweizen is made with 60% wheat malts and 40% barley malt. We use an authentic wheat beer yeast culture, which gives the beer a fruity ale character dominated by a citrus-like tartness. A slice of lemon is traditionally served with this type of wheat beer.
Ingredients: 60% Wheat and 40% Pale malts, domestic Cascade, and Mt. Hood hops.

Not a bad traditional style Hefeweizen beer. Oromo was the best part here with cloves bananas and malt. Flavor was like nose Carbonic Tang was a little strong body was a little thin and watery likewise with carbonation a little strong. Still decent enough beer overall.

Approximately 2 oz. pour, on tap at Union 32 in Eagan, Minnesota. Consumed on 7-13-17. Cloudy pale straw. Small amount of nearly white to beige head. Lovely banana aroma. Bubblegum scent. Smells great. Strong banana and clove in flavor. Quite tasty, although flavor could stand to be stronger. Frothy in the palate. Light body. Insubstantial palate but works. A darn good hefeweizen. 8.3.7.3.14=>3.5

From old tasting notes. Clear deep bronze color. Nice creamy white head. Faintly sweet wheat malt aroma. Tart citrus malty foretaste. Brief tangy finish and aftertaste. Refreshing and very drinkable.
