COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You can't deny the popularity of light beers today. You can create one that's more substantial and more flavorful than the competition.
Schell's Light is an American lager with a golden color, light body and a refreshingly crisp dry finish. Brewed with 85 percent malted barley, it has a much fuller flavor than other light beer.
Ingredients: 80% malt, 20% corn, domestic Cascade and Cluster hops.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grain, some corn, and a little malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. For being a light lager, this actually has some flavor.

For what it is, it’s a good beer. Not really any smell but that’s good many pale lagers stink. Drinks clean and easy. Wife also liked it we split a 6er. If you want a light pale lager this is a good one.

This is the way i envision light beer's being made nice golden color small head quickly fading. The taste was mild with hops malt rice and what ever else a macro would put in but in this case i'd have to say they did a decent job of doing this one.Light feel and taste with a very mild after taste that makes this a highly drinkable brew for those hot days.I'm glad i have a few more for later.

Had on 9/14/1999. Color is a pale gold with very good carbonation. Aroma reminds me of Coors. Body is light and finish is a little sweet.

Can, in the bedroom... just now.
The beer pours a very light pale yellow color with a quick rise & fall head.

The aroma is honestly sort of sweet & grape like. It’s got some herbal hops & some light graininess. But it’s pretty odd.

The flavor is perfectly fine, lightly sweet with minimal adjunct character and a pleasant enough herbal bitterness to keep it balanced. Zippy & refreshing.

Not as great as I wanted a light version of Deer Brand to be, but fine enough

Lite beer is a bad style, but this is a fine example. It is clean, crisp, clear, and actually has an Ok hop nose. As far as lite beer goes, I would put it up next to Coors.

Pours clear. This is my sisters favorite beer. Not much flavor, its a typical light lager, but I prefer it over the BMC crowd.

I’d choose this light beer of any save Samuel Adams. Light and nice. Bready, nothing crazy. Tried at the brewery with Vaughn and Amanda.

Pours a light golden yellow. Aromas of minor hops, corn, grains. Flavor is light, crisp, watery with a little hop and a touch of bitterness in the finish.

Bottled. A yellow beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and eggs. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, eggs, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
