4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2015 Bottled July 2014, sampled November 2015. I like this beer. It has a nice sourness, cherry flavor and aroma. This is a cross between a Berliner Weisse and a Belgian Kriek. Nice bottle and presentation as well. Controlled sourness is very difficult to achieve, but this one is right on.
Bottle at WTWBA. Aroma is some cherry and wheat. Taste is slight cherry but finish is strange, maybe age killed this one. Would love to try this again. boto (2266) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - SEP 2, 2016
750ml bottle: This one pours a cloudy reddish amber color. There was about no head or lacing on it. I like the aroma. Wheat, and some tart and sour cherries. A bit of funkiness to it also. The taste is good. Sour, but not overly so. Good flavor of tart cherries, wheat and a hint of funkiness. Nice! nuplastikk (6471) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 24, 2016
750ml at a tasting. Nice black cherry flavors. Really pleasant unique cherry tones. Not the most perfect base beer. Enjoyable. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 10, 2016
750mL c&c bottle at a tasting. Hazy orange pour with weak foam. Nose is dirty cherry pie, tomato, black pepper. Taste is butyric, harsh, bile, hard to drink. Abrasive acid character. Johnsense (1773) - - MAR 2, 2016
Murky brown pour, large head. Tart cherry aroma. Cherry up front, funky, wheat, lemon, slightly woody, lighter vinegar sourness.

Bottle. Pours a nice red with limited head. Aroma is tart cherries. Tastevis similar, dry. Not mouth puckering or anything. Really solid. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 15, 2015
Bottle. Amber pour, with an off white head. Cherries, lightly tart and acidic, vinegar, caramel, a bit sweet, some wheat, and kind of artificial tasting. Meh ok, not very interesting. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 4, 2015
Bottle:   Pours a still reddish amber, no head and lacing.   A bit expected tho.   Sweet cherry nose.   A little tart, but also some of that vinegar.   Feels like a Sour Red/Brown with the cherry and vinegar.   Certainly tart on the tongue.   Dark cherries and vinegar linger.   Sweetness seems a little artificial at times, but its minor.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Fairly dry on the backside.   Lingering vinegar and cherries.   Overall fairly enjoyable but seems more like a Sour Red/Brown than a Berliner Weisse.   Thanks Bob for this one! hopscotch (11305) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 16, 2015
Bottle... This beer rocks!… Hazy caramel-colored pour with no head. The nose is both fruity and malty - featuring sour cherries, caramel and a light note of woodiness. Full-bodied and creamy with modest carbonation. The flavor is both moderately sour and fruity - offering components of both sour cherries and caramel. Lengthy, tart finish. Thanks to ctipping for sharing this world-class beer!
