maybe my high expectations hurt this one, but I thought it taste too much like corn Sturgess (173) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2003
Not impressed....not enough hops to it's lager commercial, it just doesn't do anything for me, def not impressed especially when looking at the pricetag. celogan (204) - Oroville, California, USA - MAY 17, 2003
I agree with some others that this beer is under-rated. It's not a bad beer at all. Good Thrirst Quencher, and definitely better than the standard B-M-C Macro Swill. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - JAN 28, 2003
Another one that i feel doesn't deserve the bad press it has especially from the people in wisconsin the home of bad beer.granted it's not some high prized brew like some others but it definately deserves to be placed higher then what it is.it had a nice golden color, malty in aroma ,nice malt and hopp flavor with some hoppiness in the after taste.A very smooth brew for a hot summer day that is more then just drinkable but very enjoyable and satisfying. pkbites (947) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 17, 2003
Jesse Venturas last act as Governor should have been to order the Minnesota Air-National Guard to bomb the factory where this shit is made. Could someone please tell me why almost all the beer made in Minnesota is absolute piss water? What's going on up there? Blech!!!!!!!

Not as terrible as the deer brand, not as good as the pils. I am not sure why this beer exists. It will satisfy neither the swill drinker or the beer snob. greystreet80 (191) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 29, 2002
Not bad for a microbrew from New Ulm. Very drinkable and not too filling. Not too disapointing by any means.
