Dark amber, little head. Slightly sweet aroma. Tastes a little like cherry.

This year’s version tasted like someone mixed up the Schell’s premium keg rootbeer and the wort for this beer. I don’t think beer should look and taste like rootbeer. Weird!

(2001). this version was like a cross between a sweet stout and barleywine. thick palate. dark brown opaque colour. overpowering malt sweetness with a cotton candy flavour. bare minimum of hops. interesting but not worth seeking out.
