Got this in the bottle from my favorite beer distributor. I owe him for this one! I had no idea what to expect! The pour was much darker than I expected. Solid malt flavors. There are dried fruit flavors with warming spice undertones. Atouch of smoke in the aftertaste. A really nice brew that I’d recommend to anyone! Sampled on draught at the ABR 07 in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a semi-clear amber brew with a creamy off-white head that quickly dissolves to a film and ring. Aroma of lilght yeast, pitted dark fruits, some caramel malt and a touch of orange citrus. Taste is medium bodied, slightly metalic, light carbonated with a pretty decent yeasty/malt flavor. Finish is slightly dry with a dark pitted fruit and yeast aftertaste. Bring on the winter! incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - OCT 3, 2007
Looks like it will be another good snowstorm year. Fairly sweet, as you would expect. Lots of differnt subdued fruit taste, i got a lot of raisen. Look foward to this coming out in bottle soon.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2007 [ABR/Re-Rate: Bottle] Pours amber with a small cream head. Aroma is yeasty, sweet, some malt, rasins, alcohol, white wine, brown sugar. The taste is similar to the aroma with more malt and spice and a very light bitterness in the finish. Good mouthfeel, decent finish. A very enjoyable Abbey Dubbel.
