Clear copper with a large taupe crown that fades slowly away. Aroma of moderate funk with banana, caramel, spices, mild fruit and some bready malt. Taste is yeasty with banana, spices, bready malt, mild tomato and a spicy and somewhat funky finish. Nice change of pace. zeke626 (460) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Bottle, pours a clear, copper-colored body with a thick white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, yeast, and spice. Taste is similar. Light carbonation with a sticky mouthfeel. Sledutah (7530) - Utah, USA - FEB 2, 2013

Appearance: Clear Cooper/amber with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts, caramel, yeasty and spices
Taste: Sweet caramel, toasted malts, bready, finished with citrus bitterness
Pours amber with a medium sized head. Aroma is quite christmasy with hints of yeast, malts, a bit of banana and a whole lot of Christmas spice. The taste follows nicely with very sweet tones that are complimented by spice on the finish. Overall a great beer for a blistery day of football Skyview (6034) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, Minnesota. Pours a clear copper amber colored brew with an average sized off-white head that dissipates to a film top and white ring with some spotty lacing. Aroma of light banana yeast, multi-grain malt, some white bread dough and a touch of holiday potpourri. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of Belgian-like yeast, hint of molasses, light raisin, citrus/floral hops with a hint of nutmeg. Finish is mildly spicy with lingering yeast aftertaste.

Pours a clear amber with white head. Fragrant fruity aroma, mainly sour cherry. Taste - malty & spicy. Cinnamon, nutmeg, cherry & vanilla. On the thin side. Tastes like Christmas. Ericular (1019) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 24, 2012
Pours clear brown with short-lived head and no lacing. Aroma is yeast, apple, cinnamon, and other holiday spices. I’m currently not a huge fan of yeasty beers like this, but this one is well done. The taste is yeasty, with a good balance of spices and hops. The first yeast beer I’ve had no problem getting through quickly. Palate is average with low carbonation. Great for the season, though, with just enough holiday feel and warming qualities. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Bottle. Deep reddish copper body with a large yellow tinted khaki head. The doughy nose is sweet with some molasses and floral notes. There is also some leather. This tastes fairly sweet at first with the molasses character, then it moves to leather and salt. There is also some pecans throughout, especially in the aftertaste. The body is highly carbonated, almost annoyingly so with lots of fast moving bubbles. There is a strong herbal, nearly medicinal flavor as this one opens up. You can tell that this is a big warming beer, but the alcohol is well hidden. A little sweet for my tastes. crossovert (12911) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 9, 2012
Yeasty brew here. Slight funk (not barnyard but normal yeasty funk), spice, some metallic characteristics. Atom (2448) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 9, 2012
12oz bottle pours a clear brownish amber with a medium khaki head. Aroma of caramel, sweet yeast, clove, and banana. Taste similar to aroma with bitter metallic on the finish.
