Pours clear brown with short-lived head and no lacing. Aroma is yeast, apple, cinnamon, and other holiday spices. I’m currently not a huge fan of yeasty beers like this, but this one is well done. The taste is yeasty, with a good balance of spices and hops. The first yeast beer I’ve had no problem getting through quickly. Palate is average with low carbonation. Great for the season, though, with just enough holiday feel and warming qualities. Sledutah (7534) - Utah, USA - FEB 2, 2013

Here it goes had this 2 months apart and in those 2 months it was almost a totally different beer strange... December it was awesome sweet sour almost like a jolly rancher one of the best and strangest beers i ever had. Wild... 2 months later had another and it had mellowed quite a bit still good but darker in color and a lot of the original flavors were gone leaving a kind of dark winter ale in its place nice job Schells!!! portableparty (2350) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 28, 2012
