Bottle in the living room.
Pours a pale golden color with such clarity.

The aroma is spicy with lots of banana and a fair bit of alcohol.

The flavor is very nice, spicy and fruit forward without being cloying in any way. Really interesting the way the cinnamon just blends in at first but then lingers. The alcohol is noticeable but not out of control or "hot"....
Pretty good

Bottle. Pours a clear deep rust color with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of banana with some grains, light spice and clove supporting. Flavor has a bit of boozy banana with clove, sweet grains and a bit of cinnamon.

12 oz. bottle pours a hazy amber color with small off-white head and hardly any lacing. Aroma has lots of bananas, cloves, and some brown sugar. Taste is sweet but not cloying. Body is medium with average carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. This is the booziest Schell’s beer I’ve tried, yet deceptively easyt to drink, and one of my favorites from this brewery.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2017 12 oz bottle from the Hwy 2 Road Trip. Aroma is all bananas, all the time. Cinnamon is there if I concentrate. Pours hazy new penny copper with a small off-white head. Taste is sweet and spicy with flavors of banana, clove, cinnamon, bread. Has an alcohol presence that gets stronger the more it warms up. Nice beer, but I wish it was a little less boozy.

Draft. This is a strong and sweet one, the banana yeast isn’t ultra-in your face, some spice and plenty of brown sugar and caramel.

madvike (3286) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 5, 2017
Bottle - Hazy amber pour with a thin white head. Nose is typical weizenbock--lots of banana, clove, and the cinnamon that is in the description. Sweet and well-balanced. Taste is the same--bananas, spice, and a just a touch of apple. An odd finishing note that I can’t place. Slick and fairly thick in the mouth. Very solid, but I’d expect that from Schell’s.

vikingguy (1106) - Carver, Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2017
Attractive deep honey gold, very little head. Pleasant banana and Cheerios aroma. Taste - banana flavor is quite pronounced along with some mild clove and cinnamon. Creamy mouthfeel. Fairly rich and sweet. Unique weizen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper color with a whispy head. Faint estery aroma. Strong banana flavor, with dark, buttery, Munich malt flavor. Full bodied. Solid weizenbock, but nothing that would suggest something extra to be bananas foster.

I was expecting a bit more from this. Poured with a very short-lived fizzy head and no lace collar is a slightly hazy Amber. Aroma is typical traditional German weizen. Flavor’s like nose and I don’t pick up the cinnamon nuances that others claim. It’s decent but nothing special.

A really tasty weizenbock. Aromas of banana and clove. Flavours are banana, cinnamon, some nice caramel maltiness. This one’s a winner
