On cask. Had a light hoppy character that didn’t mix well with the malt. Unbalanced and under-carbonated. Decent but not great. JK (6295) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - OCT 12, 2008
ABR 2008. Dry and salty. Cloudy, and pure malt. Very well carbonated. I haven’t had many of this style, but this is similar to the others I have had. A very nice session beer. I love it when Schell’s pulls out these old styles. badgerben (5328) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 30, 2008
Autumn Brew Review 2008. Been wanting to try this for a while. Hazy gold color with a thin head. Light floral hop aroma. Quite a dry grain taste. Lightly hopped with Noble, floral hops. Not as bitter as a Kellerbier usually is, but enjoyable. Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 28, 2007
Sampled at ABR 07 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pours a semi-hazed golden pale brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of light bready multi-grain malt, a touch of citrus and flowery hops and a touch of sweet yeast. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with flavors of some fruity bread malt, a touch of citrus zest and a touch of yeast. Finish is slightly gritty with a yeast and bready malt aftertaste. Quite interesting! BDR (2535) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 31, 2007
ABR 2007. Yellow body with light grainy aroma and overall lager like character. Light taste.

[At ABR ’07] Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma is a little weak. Good taste with lots of grains, long finish. Easy to drink. I’d like to be able to drink this again so I could pick out some of the things I probably missed, but overall pretty good.
