Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 25, 2009
Dark chestnut and slightly hazy. There are a lot of dark fruity notes in the aroma. The palate is more liquoricey with chocolate and a hint of nuts. Not bad schwarz.

Bottle @ at Greek restaurant in Sulzbach-Rosenberg. Dark brown with red tint, and a thick lasting beige head. Cola, asphalt, and toasted malt aromas. Great cola, chocolate malt, and slightly burnt flavors and dry finish are true to style and good.

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 1, 2008
Bottle, courtesy of papsoe. A clear, copper beer with a beige head. Some cooked vegetables in the aroma, but mostly grainy with caramel. Lacks the roasted or burnt aromas. Caramel, dried fruits and sweetness in the flavor, quite nice, but lacks on the roasted or burnt malt I expect from a schwarzbier. Medium body, and a bit sweet. Fruity finish. Quite decent, but not where it should be. (080823)

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2008
TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Papsoe. It’s dark, red-brown and the aroma has roasted malt and grapefruit-like hops in the aroma. The flavour has sweetness and ntoes of roasted malt, caramel and slight dry grapefruit. The overall impression is a bit thin and out of balance.
