Ritzn (1808) - GERMANY - JAN 7, 2017
Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is crispy straw, some fresh sour fruity stuff, with some grass and dust. Taste is smooth but sparkly hop bitterness and fresh citric sourness. Smooth in the mouth with a good presence. Nice.

Sampled at the Brauereigasthof zum Kuchlbauer, Abendsberg. Lasting white head. Clear solid yellow color. A bit dirty or sulfur aroma with some caramel maltiness. Fine herbal hop taste. Low bitterness and dry finish.

A good Pils manages to stand out a little from the sheer masses of Pils available. Kuchlbauer do have quite a good range of beers.

jonas (8035) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - APR 14, 2004
Grassy hop nose. Pale golden, low carbonation, low creamy head. Lightish body, bitterhop dominates and the finish is bone-dry. Slightly perfumed aftertaste. Well crafted north german pils from bavaria :-)

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge, white and slowly collapsing head. Mild hops fruity aroma. Flavour is mild cornish sweet and with a nice citrus fruity hops aroma on top. Mild bitterness along a light fruity note into the finish.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild, modest dry, fine hoppy notes. Finish is a bit more spicy. Very drinkable and good pils!

Geruch leicht grasig-hopfig. Antrunk süßlich-grasig, zieht weiter hopfenaromatisch. Würzig-bitterer Abgang. Gut.
