Clear golden with little to head. Aroma is mildly sweet with notes of apple. Flavor is a bit sweet with very light apple. Some notes of vanilla, but it’s a little cloying. It’s ok, but not great.

I had reasonably high hopes for this one, but no luck. Light pour, sulfuric, starchy aroma. On the sweet without apple intensity (not a good thing); instead some vanilla oak. Drinkable, but just.

Where and how: can , tasting 355 ml
Aromasoft barrel feel, lacking dryness that I like in ciders. Mild tartness with hidden apple notes.
Appearance :
Top: small to none.
Base: clear, pale gold.<br Palate : medium bodied, flat carbonation. OK.
Taste:no carbonation whatsoever. Cask feel in cider. Mild barrel (oak) hints. Later butter scotch.

Zeer slechte smaak, gewoonweg niet te drinken. Gewoonweg niet aan te raden.

This is technically cider, because it’s made from apples. It doesn’t really taste like cider, it tastes like mildly carbonated (cheap) chardonnay. I can drink almost anything and I don’t think I can finish this. I’m giving it a 10 overall because it’s alcohol which means it passes my most important test. Bottom line: super disappointing.

Poured from a can. Clear light yellow color, small short lived white head. Pungent grape and apple aroma. Medium body with a strong cheese favor with a light Apple undertone and a lingering cheese finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can pours a clear smokey gold with zero head. Nose has a lot of wood shavings and tons of buttery oak, bad butterscotch candies, some rotting fruit. Flavor is butterscotch, lemon juice and super buttery oak. Buttery finish. Wow, not good.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2015 Aroma: oak, apple (thinking the Beer Rating Assistance should be expanded to include cider descriptors - or a separate one for ciders created) Appearance: pale gold Taste: light sweetness, oak, apple Palate: light body, slick feel, soft carbonation, long finish, Decent

Can. Pours a very light gold with a white head that disappears quickly. Nose is smoke, apple peel, vanilla, and leaves. Huge amounts of vanilla, butter, and oak on the tongue; apple kicks in after, but it’s definitely out of balance. This is almost as if it was a hot buttered cider. Finish is oily, long, and buttery. The butter is so dominant that it’s hard to taste anything else. Not very good.

Draft - Woody and buttery notes. Pale clear yellow. Apple, oak, butter, like am Oaked Chardonnay. Interesting and nice.
