An okay cider that definitely lives up to its billing as a “chaider”. Lots of vanilla sweetness, lingering sweet apples. Couldn’t stomach a whole glass, but thankfully Emma was there to share during Reubenfest in 2017. Capa (3620) - DC, Washington DC, USA - DEC 21, 2016
Pale hazy golden hay. Light spice and tart apple. Light vanilla and fruit juice. Lingering spiced finish. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 21, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear medium gold with a very small ring head. Nose is vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, green apple, apple peel, and bubblegum. Drier than the nose; there’s good tartness on the tongue, and an almost barrel-aged vanilla/oak tone to it. The spicing is subtle, and there is some black pepper there. (Chai should have black pepper in it. This is one of my rules. If it doesn’t have black pepper, call it ’spiced tea’ or something.) Finish is long, and gets a little muddy. It’s all right, but it’s just all right; I’ve had better. monk191 (2022) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 21, 2016
A very interesting, if a little weird, cider. Pours and ugly grey yellow. Smells of chai and cinnamon. Taste is cinnamon, bright fruit, Apple and red wine. Maybe even something like pastrami. Not very tart. Had on tap. sulawang (1208) - - OCT 25, 2016
Visual: Pours clean apple juice yellow with shade of brown, ringed retention no major head, clusters of slow steady streams.

Nose: huge cinnamon-nutmeg-cardamom-clove spice blend, brown sugar-honey (lvl-10)-pungency
Attack: mild crisp, fruity sweet
Mid-palate: mildly cloying (lvl-7-sweetness), clove, subtle ginger, apple-pear juice, medium tangy-light acidic, light caramelized brown sugar
Finish: soft tart palate roughness, lingering apple juice sugars, light honey, cinnamon bark exhale
Summary: Aromatically gorgeous. Very flavourfully spiced, me being a big fan of masala chai. There’s a bit of dullness in the apple but the spices keep it lively.

Hazy light blond color. Smells like mulled cider, the body is thin, lightly sweet, a bit bready, lightly spicy.
This is not even a cider, you can just sweeten and teabag your cheap cider at home if you want the same result.
Tap at Schilling Cider House. Great inviting, holiday spiced cider aroma. Clean, slight hazed yellow. Great flavor but still a little flabby. Nice. mcberko (19837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2016
On tap at Schilling, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out strong chai spice - that’s all there is to say about the nose. Flavour is heavy sweet, with lots of chai spice and residual sugars present. Works pretty well together. Though the sweetness is high, it’s quite complementary with the spices. Enjoyable gimmick cider. Fatehunter (2640) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 13, 2016
Chaider. The aroma is nice mixture of apples and chai.
The flavors have a difficult time blending together, but it tastes good. A bit woody and spicy.

As Chaider. Unique, and I love chai, but didn’t really come together for me. Nice to try though.
