Can. Pours gold with a white head. Ginger spice and apple sweetness, mild-moderate sweetness, and a quick juicy finish. Pretty good.

Can from bhensonb. Pours yellow gold with a thick white head and a faint apple aroma. There is a substantial apple flavor with a lot of ginger. Ok if you like ginger.

Can. Gold. No head or bubbles of any kind. Aroma of slight ginger. Flavor is tangy, subtle ginger taste but the spice is evident. A slight upgrade from a dry cider.

12oz can at Cock & Bowl. Poured a very clear golden yellow color with a fizzy, disappearing head. Aroma was immediate fresh shaved ginger. Semi-sweet notes, not as dry as I normally like, but a decent balance between sweet and tart. Ginger soda character.

355 ml can bought at Globalist Ltd’s booth during the 13th Hong Kong Food Festival 2015 in HKCEC, Wan Chai.

Almost zero head and faint residual white foam which fades immediately; Fair sticky lacing with notable slight carbonation; Fragrant and sweet aroma of apple wine, with very strong ginger, soda, sugar, faint wood barrel and faint tannic; Close to light sweet taste of light apple wine, with strong fresh ginger, notable alcohol, light yoghurt, light wood and shades of tannic; Light body. Watery palate; Mouth feel is very watery apple wine just like the Gold Cider, but with strong raw ginger paste and pretty boozy. Some fresh apple in the background, also quite yoghurty. Quite good!.... Wet after taste. Spicy and boozy to mouth.

Comments: The fresh ginger really give this otherwise thin cider a big boost. Its flesh appale base is aleady solid, but somehow it’s a bit too boozy on par with any Scrumpy. Refreshingly drinklable, but with care.

12oz can pours a clear gold with some fizzy head that faded fast. Nose has ginger, cardamom, and of course green apples. Flavor has a lick of green vanilla bean, ginger, cardamom, apple skins, apple juice, a touch cakey. Finishes mostly dry.

Very prominent and good ginger smell, very very pale color, taste is actually much more mild on ginger than expected... Hoped it would be a little stronger...too weak...need a bit more bold...very smooth and good ginger/apple mix 50/50

UPDATED: APR 9, 2016 Can. This is a re-rate after reformulation and rebranding. Pours a hazy yellow-green with a fine-grained, medium white head that dissipates quickly. Nose is green apple, fresh ginger, powdered ginger, and small limes. On the palate -- yep. It’s reformulated. The slick, oily butteriness that used to mar this cider is gone; it’s still rich, but the ginger and acid punches through the richness now. There’s noticeable ginger heat and Granny Smith tartness. Finish is medium and has some brown sugar and spice elements to it. Bravo; a definite improvement.

Crazy light golden coloured body that is a light hazy straw note with a thin, very fast-dying white head. Aroma of fresh ginger, light malt, a touch of alcohol and way more warm ginger, just like Vernor’s soda in Michigan. Medium-bodied; Assertive sweetness up front from apples, a light honey flavour and a bunch of ginger more akin to Canada Dry than Vernor’s. Aftertaste shows a very pleasant sweetness, some mild malt, apple tastes, a hint of light alcohol, but a fresh and distinct ginger flavour throughout. Overall, a very nice cider with a perfect amount of fresh ginger flavour with a pleasant apple flavour as well. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Alexandria (Old Town), Virginia on 05-July-2015 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Upstate New York on 11-July-2015.

Gotta disagree w my man suds on this one. Mine had too much ginger, and was slightly medicinal, with very little Apple - sweet or tart. Not impressed.
