culchiem (3978) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2010
Bottle. Reddish brown with an off-white long lasting head. Aroma of toasted malts. Similar flavour with caramel and a nice creamy finish.

.5L bottle - Shared w/ SkyCop32. Pours a nice deep dark amber. Aromas of caramel and dark malts. Flavors a molasses, fruit and mild hopping.

Feinschmecker (202) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2009
Brown, deep red color. Molasses and brown sugar aroma. Medium body, creamy mouth-feel, lightly bitter but lingering. Bready and on the sweet side, but balanced.

Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2009
Draught. High creamy and lasting off/white head. Clear brown body. Mild caramel hops aroma. Caramel cocoa flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. Beer served in a sort of clay mug that kept the beer wonderfully cool. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.

kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - NOV 29, 2008
The bottle looks good. The beer in the glass is dark, almost black. Very dry aroma. Tastes dry, too, bit not as much as exspected. Spicy-earthy, a bit smoky, notes of bacon. Finish milder, well balanced. Really good beer!

pivnizub (10618) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2008
Bügelverschlußflasche: Clear amber coloured, small, lacy off-white head, lazy carbonation; distinctive sweet dark-malty, nutty nose with a tinge of toasted malt; moderate to to robust sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; a bit drier and more bitter in the toasted-malty finish with the faintest illusions of smoked malt in the very end. Very decent, spicy stuff...........

yespr (45447) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2008
50 cL bottle. Pours brown with an orange/redish glare and a huge tan head. Breadish and mild roasted malt aroma. Spiced and breadish malty flavour. Light bitterness coming through. Ends dry breadish and mild bitter.

shrubber85 (11408) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Tap. Chocolate and brown sugar malt aroma. Dark brown color with moderate head. Smoky chocolate and brown sugar malt flavor. Nice body. A very nice beer.

TaxiDriver (1775) - Stadland, GERMANY - JUL 15, 2008
Bottle. Very sweet and malty smell, reminds me of an Oud Bruin. Medium sized brown foamy head, brown body. Moderate bitter taste, average duration. Flat carbonation, medium body, dry texture.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2007
Dark amber with a nice head. The aroma has inviting notes of caramel and hops. The flavour is smooth and has notes of roasted malt, caramel, sweetness and it has a moderate bitter finish.
