Swingtop bottle at Delirium Cafe. DC had a sale on all of their German Winter beers. I took advantage of this because I assumed they were not abundantly rated. Copper body with a small white head. Nose is malty and sweet with caramel notes, light fruit, and touch of brown sugar. Taste is sweet and malty, with light fruit flavors, and soft bready notes. Light pumpernickel, perhaps. Body is smooth and has an overall medium feel. Finishes with lots of caramel, bready malts, faint grass, and hops. pivnizub (10563) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2015
Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden, clear, stable medium-sized off-white head; malty-caramelly nose with a nutty touch, but also with traces of metal and vegetables; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft and relatively light bodied; malty and rural sweet-bitter finish. Not too great, but traces of a good franconian character are still detectable... fdomig (996) - München, GERMANY - DEC 3, 2016

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear light amber with an off-white head leaving some lacework. Lightly skewed malty nose. Medium body with a very German maltiness with a dry and hoppy finish. Very German in style. 290508 Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 9, 2008
bottle. Clear amber-yellow colour, large off-white head. Malty nose. Medum-bodied, pleasantly malty wioth lots of roasted malt and a decent amount of aromatic hops. Slightly grainy, in the middle part the hops have the appearance of cheap hop pellets. Neverheless a more than decent brew.
