4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
After thoroughly enjoying Schlafly’s Tasmanian IPA I expected to enjoy this one as well and I was right. Pours golden with a touch of orange and a small head with little lacing. The aroma is fantastic and covers the entire hop spectrum. It has floral, pine and citrus notes. Smells great. Taste is a nice combination of hop bitterness and just the right amount of malt backbone. There is a nice bitter citrus finish. Overall this beer is light to medium bodied, crisp and easy to drink. I think I prefer the Tasmanian by a little but this beer is also excellent. I shouldn’t have waited so long to try beers from this brewery.
Hazy , golden color. Nice , white head. Tropical fruits, citrus and malt in aroma. Balanced, hoppy taste with malt on background. Nothing more to say. Just damn good IPA!

Rated on 12-24-2016. This bottled beer’s apperance includes a medium sized frothy offf-white head that is mostly lasting, hazy medium yellow body, fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is very nice...citrus hops, pine hops, fruity, bitter hops, floral, and caramel malt. The flavor is moderate-heavy bitter, citrus hops, pine hops, fruity. caramel malt, and a dry finish. The mouthfeel is lively carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. A very nice drinking beer with a moderate bitter aftertaste and a very good overall taste to it. It is easy drinking and a beer that I would partake in again. laurenlm (6) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 24, 2017 does not count
This beer is amazing! I got so many different delicious hoppy flavors from this one, mostly citrus and fruitiness, but also hints of pine a little herbal flavor. alexsdad06 (10390) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 11, 2016
Bottle from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, citrus, floral and herbal tea hop character, smells very nice, moderate bitterness, pretty solid beer, flavor falls short of the nose.

Bottle from New Beer Distributors, Manhattan, New York, USA. A hazy golden/ yellow coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit, pine aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit, pine, slightly bitter/tart. Decent IPA. gripweed57 (2460) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - SEP 4, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy yellow golden color. Moderate rocky white head is firm and dense. Intense piney hop nose, redolent of bitter grapefruit. Upfront, flavor is sweet malt and citrusy hops. Starts out subtle, but the hoppiness becomes more intense in the midtaste. Complex and spicy with tropical fruit notes. Well hidden is the 7.2% ABV. Nicely crafted and a stellar example of American lupinicity. Pauly_Ant81 (7) - Frankfort, Illinois, USA - AUG 17, 2016 does not count
Nice hoppy American ipa with a nice citrus note. Finishes nice... color is a little hazy and light. jefcon (1849) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 5, 2016
Standard pour, but tons of bitterness, citrus and pine from this terrific IPA. Sticky and tart, with a spicy aroma that belies the massive hop content on the palate. MacNJ (93) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 25, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 26, 2016 The appearance is one weakness with a watery head and a cloudy, unfiltered pour. However, the nose is fully hopped, and the taste matches it’s sniff. Very hoppy. Solid IPA. Cheers!
