IBG Summer Fest. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate floral hop and citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy hop bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a very solid beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Draft. Medium off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste is moderately sweet, pine/grapefruit, some alcohol. Resiny medium-full body. Really should be considered an IIPA. Drake (13742) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 7, 2011
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine West Richmond, VA. Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Huge pineapple and citrus notes in the aroma with a dark resiny finish. Reminiscent of tar but not necessarily in a bad way. The taste is tropical and citrus hops with a bitter finish. That tar note is here also, and this time it is offensive. Medium bodied. Weird beer.
