Sampled at the 2008 Music City Brewers Fest. Amber with a large rock head that leaves big chunky lacing. Big citrus aroma mixed with a malt background. Hoppy flavor with a slight floral hint and malt background. Light to medium body with soft even carbonation. Bitter throughout but a little extra bit in the finish. Bottle pours a dark amber with a large tan head. Citrus, sweet aroma. Taste is citrus, malty, and a large burst of hops to finish. NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 13, 2008
Ah this was a good brew, Lots of hops and malt on the aroma. Flavor has lots of fruity hop character with some malt in the background. Bitter/tart finish. Nice ale. mcmd (315) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 12, 2008
Pours golden orange/amber with a white head. Nose is malt, yeast, and grassy hops.
Flavor is tart and sour fruit, yeast, caramel malt, and grassy hops. Bitter hops in the finish. Decent pale ale. hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 10, 2008
From the brewpub in St. Louis, MO this draft pour came an exceptionally clear amber with a small white head and good lacing. Very attractive. Nose is grassy and citrus hops on top of caramel malts that set your taste buds aon edge. Mouthfeel is enjoyable yet crisp. Flavor is quite bitter as is the finish. This may be the best offering from this brewery.

Light resin sap colored amber. The head is white and small The Aroma is awesome with ig cascade-like hop aroma and spiciness and fruityness. The flavor is complex and has a high country barley malt backbone and notes of fruit, yeast and caramel. The taste grabs the tongue and feels a tad harsh so I’m guessing this is a big beer. Carbonation is good and fizzy and finish is less bitter than the flavor.
I also had this on cask and just smooth everything out time five for that experience like a fine woman, art, or piano for that rating’.. whichever of the 3 you prefer. golubj (1377) - San Mateo, California, USA - AUG 10, 2008
Bottle, thanks to xmarcnolanx. Amber clearish pour with some white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is pilsner and caramel malt and light hops. Flavor is very pilsner-like in the malt department, with some earthy hops providing a medium amount of bitterness. Pretty well done, good balance and nice palate. clasley (153) - Arkansas, USA - AUG 9, 2008
355 ml bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy amber with a moderate beige head. Nice floral nose with a touch of citrus. Medium to light body. Subtle slightly fruity malt profile countered by a nice hop bitterness. Semi-sweet finish. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2008
12 oz. bottle courtesy of Acknud. Pours orange with pink/red hues and small, rimming off-white head. Nose is bubblegum and PEZ candies, slight apple and some floral and citrus. Taste is fruity, apple, cherry and citrus with lemony notes, caramel sweetness, slight maltiness and a decent bitterness with dry bitter finish. Tasty pale ale, even if its a bit fruity. nqualls (1452) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 29, 2008
On tap at the Music City Brewer’s Festival. Poured a clear copper color with a big white head. Aroma was of earthy hops. Taste is somewhat bitter. Overall I thought this beer was good.
