Tasted from a bottle and on draft at Bottleworks, equally tasty both ways. It poured a hazy light golden color with fluffy white foam, long-lasting with lace. Huge banana aromas, some clove and black pepper, grain harvest, rising bread dough, freshly-baked white bread, light noble hops. Flavor was tart, wheaty, nice balance of malt sweetness to tangy hops bitterness, pleasant chalky yeast impression. An awesome Hefeweizen. bobbyberbiglia (188) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JUN 13, 2013
12oz Draft A - Pours cloudy straw yellow with a nice white head. S - Citrus, yeasty banana, clove, and a faint bubblegum. T - Very similar to smell plus sweet malted wheat. M - Medium bodied. Smooth texture/carbonation. Clean finish. O - Very traditional, and very good. Patrickctenchi (6669) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Pours cloudy yellow with a short, white head.
Aroma is lemon, banana...
Taste is pleasant wheat,...subdued spicing....crisp.
I like this...it’s beer, it’s wheat....not overblown with cloves and spice...
Enjoyed it. valpoaj (745) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Pours a clear golden (particularly so for the style) with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is light, bordering on faint, with hints of clove and banana...hint of bubble gum back there. Flavor is similarly light, and somewhat wine-like, but I found it to be a pleasant rendition of the style. Palate is light, and slightly watery. Overall, I really liked this beer, even if it was a bit different than what I was expecting. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JAN 23, 2012
Bottle. Banana, wheat, clove aroma. Slightly hazy yellow with almost no head. Citrus, wheat malt flavor. Light slightly carbonated body.

12oz. Bottle: Got in trade from Phaleslu; THANKS Peter! Aroma of wheat, cloves, grains, and banana. Poured yellow/gold in color with a small, loose, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of wheat, banana, and some grains. Medium body. Sticky, then dry and sticky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Wheat, banana finish is lightly sweet and dry and sticky. bpr77 (264) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - DEC 18, 2011

12 oz. Bottle about 6 mos. old. Pours a cloudy golden yellow, with nice pillowy white head. Nose of citrus, banana, maybe a little clove, also something off/artificial. Taste is malty, doughy, fruity, with a little spice on the end. Fairly light and drinkable - overall not bad - but nothing amazing. hayduke (5607) - Eureka, California, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Courtesy of Strykzone. Poured gold with a big fat white head and nice lacing Nose of banana and clove. Medium body and smooth palate . Lots of classic hefe flavor with lots of banana, cloves, and ripe tropical fruit. Flavorful finish.
