Schlafly Belgian-Style Golden Ale opens with a fruity nose and rounded sweetness that compose a pale and balanced beer. Hallertau hops lend a hint of spice that balances the aroma and flavor of orchard fruit. Similar to our Belgian Tripel, but with a lighter body and a crisper finish, it is the perfect introduction to the family of Belgian beers renowned for their complexity and delicacy.

This was quite good. A very bubbly aroma and tons of zest and tingliness in the body as well. An imminently enjoyable beer.

Poured from a bottle. Fluffy white head, cloudy orange. Banana aroma, doesn’t taste like beer though. Needed more alcohol.

Very fluffy white head. Pours a cloudy golden. Nose of sweet and fruity yet sour Belgian yeast. Taste of sweet malt and pears. Mouthfeel is bitingly effervescent at first, then smooth. Finishes fairly dry with lingering pear. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Ripe banana and pineapple with gum; spicy white pepper; clove? Appearance: Rich translucent gold pour with a foamy white head that settles into a white skin. Flavor: Gum more dominant than banana/pineapple up front; banana comes in a bit more, but pineapple stays back; dried out, lightly spicy finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: Good stuff, but the nose made me expect more.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste belgian yeast, sweet, fruity. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Bright yellow and clear. Nose is yeasty with some hint of spice. Taste is the same and rather clean which I like in singles. Good

Pours straw golden with a taller eggshell head that settles to a ring and film, leaving some soapy, spotty lace. Nose involves spicy and peppery notes, some florals (lilac), and big yeasty dough. Somewhat sweet, fairly bitter, not tart really. Light to medium bodied, somewhat oily, active, with a zesty spicy finish. Pretty decent, refreshing yet potent.
