COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlafly Belgian-Style Golden Ale opens with a fruity nose and rounded sweetness that compose a pale and balanced beer. Hallertau hops lend a hint of spice that balances the aroma and flavor of orchard fruit. Similar to our Belgian Tripel, but with a lighter body and a crisper finish, it is the perfect introduction to the family of Belgian beers renowned for their complexity and delicacy.

Pours bright golden from growler, creamy head laces the tulip glass. Aroma of tart apple and mild banana uneasiness. Creamy on first taste yielding to a surprising bitter, refreshing finish that nicely matches the tart apple hints. Flavors and aroma deepen as it warms in the glass.

Fruit-laden aromas of banana, peach, clove, apple, pear. Creamy palate, creamy look in the glass. Full with a long finish. Lush hops, straw, medium sweetness, golden raisin.

Poured from a bottle into a snifter dated 3/25/13. A-Fruity yeast, clove, banana. A-mostly clear with a straw yellowish orange tint. Head is barely held, no lacing. Taste-Big fruity esters with clove and slight spiciness. P-dispite the impression of the head leaving so quickly it actually has nice carbonation. It has sweetness that still comes acrossed as balanced with the spiciness. O-Rich, Fruity, and spicy. I enjoy this beer a lot. I get a bit of heat in my back palate from the alcohol.

Bottle. Aroma of alcohol and yeast. The taste is sweet and yeasty for the most part, a bit cloying after a while. The yeast kinda sharply sticks out, and the beer overall tastes a bit boozy. Can taste a bit of hops at the very end. Decent, not as great as I hoped. 7% alcohol.

Golden yellow pour with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, light fruit, some spiciness. Taste is creamy, yeast, fruity, candi sugar, spicy. So-so lacing.

Pale, straw gold in color with a delicately floral nose, this well-balanced light Belgian matches sweetness with just the right touch of sour to create a refreshing and flavorful ale. Dangerously drinkable! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear gold with a solid head cover, curtain of lace. Taste is light wheat malt and carbonation that grows slightly through the palate, giving way to spice, primarily cloves in the finish. Decent brew, but I found the finish a little off-putting.

Bottle. Pour is a cleanish gold with s fizzy/sudsy white head. Aromas are slightly peppery with a little bit of honey and a distinct graininess. Flavor is sweet like honey and biscuit with a spicy edge to it... Interesting, but not my favorite.

Pours a pale, hazy yellow with nice head. Lot of yeast, lot of spicy hops. Nice blonde.
