Aroma of all spice and ginger, pours a clear reddish brown color without much of a head. Taste of spice, watery feel with a spice finish. csaso (2321) - Missouri, USA - DEC 27, 2015
Bottle - average size foamy head, nice Amber color, definite winter spice aroma and flavor (cinnamon like/clove), good malt backbone, good overall

Pours a clear golden brown on tap with dissipating off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of Christmas spice and nuts. Taste follows: ginger, all spice, clove. Thinner, but booze well hidden, soft carbonation, decent Christmas beer. Gunfighter (5) - Kansas, USA - DEC 23, 2015 does not count
Poured out of a 12 oz bottle in a Sam Adams glass.
Aroma is very sweet with notes of cinnamon and ginger.
Appearance is a dark reddish brown.
Taste hits with a malty sweetness right off the bat. A very nice mix of spices quickly puts the malts in the backseat of this beer’s experience. Cinnamon, ginger, and allspice come through as the dominant taste in this brew. Others have mentioned gingerbread, and something similar to gingerbread does catch an end note for this beer, but it is not the prominent flavor.
Palate: Would appeal to a wide variety of craft beer drinkers I believe. Not a strong hop presence, but that isn’t a key part of this style. The balance of malt and spices is well put together in this beer without the need for a strong blast from any hop varieties. Hop heads should find satisfaction elsewhere.
Overall; this beer is a solid Christmas Ale that I would drink again given the chance.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear amber with beige head. Aromas of cinnamon, caramel, spices, light biscuit. Tastes of malt, caramel, spices, brown sugar. Medium body with a dry finish. Block (3183) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - DEC 10, 2015
It’s malty, solid, not bad. It has a good, sweet character. Some spice. Not too heavy but good alcohol that’s masked very well. A good winter ale that I would consider sessionable around the holidays. gripweed57 (2856) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - NOV 24, 2015
12 ounce bottle. Pours a deep rich copper color. Small creamy khaki head. Aroma is chock full of Yuletide spices, including cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cardamom. Sweet caramel malt with nice complex spice and alcohol warmth. Floral hops are subdued but welcomed. Notes of butterscotch and holiday spice rack. I rather liked this one.
