Pour on tap at the brewpub, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, cereal, some straw into a bit of spice, slight grass, touch of vanilla. Taste was a mix of honey, grass, bread into a bit of cereal, slight husky note, finishing dry.

Tap. Pours clear golden, small white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is caramel, biscuit, hay. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, fairly acidic. Medium body.

Nice sweet smell with a hint of grapefruit was pretty excited to take a drink. Poured into a light head and a reddish goldfish color to it. But I was upset with the flavor which it lacks pretty bland.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2014 Half pint at Taproom. Aroma is very nice clean lager with a good mineral character and slightly sweet white bread malts. Same in flavor just a nice clean non-boring lager.

Clear. No head. No lacing. Pretty mild and plain. Not memorable. Sampled at hop in the city 2013

Tap at the Schlafly Tap room. Clear gold with a two finger white head, decent retention. Lightly toasty biscuit malt and honey with a bit of grassy hops. Flavor follows suit, just a touch of sweetness before finishing dry with bitterness peaking at a 2. Moderate carbonation with a medium body. Pretty tasty.

Judging on style, Dortmunder. A-mild bread, earthiness, some faint grass and herbs. A-rich amber gold. Thin white head. T-malt is rich bread and cereal. Earth floral notes. Very minimal hop character. Very balanced and easy to drink. P-rich malt mouth feel with medium carbonation. O- a very balanced and approachable beer. I could drink many happily.

jandd1983 (4544) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 20, 2013
Sampled at the 2013 Heritage Festival. It poured a yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of wheat with hops and a little doughy. The taste was roasty with some ginger, a little nuttiness and vegetables. Very nice.

Pours deep amber with notes of light malt that drive into a light hop and cereal grain palate.
