Tap. Gold pour, white head. Citrus hop aroma. Nice taste of citrus/grapefruit, hop, and a little malt. hopscotch (11419) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2009
Draft… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is a fusion of toffee, grapefruit and piney, peppery hop. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor is all about bitter, juicy hops and caramel malt. Bittersweet, lupulin/juicy hop finish. alexsdad06 (11223) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 4, 2007
Bottle @ Dilly Deli courtesy of Tmoney99. Thanks Tom. Pours a light copper color with a small head. The aroma is mainly peach. The flavor has a nice malt presence balanced with peaches and enough bitterness to keep things interesting. Light and easy drinking. This helped to turn a bad situation (Dogfish Head tasting that was disappointing) into a nice experience. jercraigs (11071) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 1, 2004
Decent white head on a golden body. Nice citrusy hoppy aroma. Grapefruit hops dominates the flavour with just barely enough malt to start to approach balanced. Some fruityness, and a mildly acidic grapefruit finish. Decent palate. Nice beer, but a touch one dimensional. Thanks for sharing Adrian. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 2, 2008
Bottle, thanks strykzone. And boy a big thanks. This is an underrated brew. An awesome amber pour with a nice big white head. A great floral aroma hits you with some green pepper and malty sniffs as well. The flavor doesnt bite you with hops but you can taste them with delicacy. The malt is sweet and the carbonation is nice. A really good beer.

Draft pint at Thurman Grill. Seven taps, and I think this was the only one I hadn’t tried yet. Bartender swore it was the hoppiest beer Schlafly does, but I’m not so sure about that. Pours a clear gold color with a finger-thick eggshell white head that doesn’t last very long. Aroma of citrusy hops, pine, floral notes, spices, and herbs. Flavor of grapefruit citrus, pine resin, floral hops, herbal notes, and caramel malts. Light-medium bodied, with average carbonation. Satisfying and sessionable. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

This cloudy amber ale poured with a thick off-white head and a grassy aroma. There is a caramel malt flavor, not sweet, but infused with hop bitterness. Lots of citrus. cubs (10740) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Tap @ Schlafly St. Louis. Pours a clear, golden orange appearance with a white head. Somewhat piney, a bit spicy hoppy, pale malty aroma. Fairly pedestrian flavor: notes of flowers, pine, citrus, and toasted malts, though all are weak. sebletitje (10477) - Enghien, BELGIUM - FEB 25, 2009

pours amber/orange with a nice clear and lasting white head.
Aroma is very refreshing. Notes of hops, malts, fruits with grapefruit and sweet citrus aromas.
Taste, light palate, pale malts with sweet fruity notes of grapefruit and hints of caramel. Very faint bitter mouthfeel. Highly drinkable with nice velvety palate.
My kind of APA/IPA not swarmed by bitter hops. This is a fine nice beer.
